We are planning a Peaceful march at the corner of A1A and 520 and would ask all who plan on attending to please respect that. Any who wish to bring children should feel encouraged to do so. Our mission is to educate Cocoa Beach on the vast and dire threat that Monsanto poses to our health and Democracy. We are not marching to alienate or antagonize our community, but to antagonize and expose Monsanto. We are marching to educate our community and the world.
I personally will be marching FOR my Future Children and their children and their children etc... I will also be marching FOR GMO foods to be banned since they will not even label them! I will be marching FOR human rights and FOR a solution. Lastly, I will be marching for the awakening of those that do not understand the devastation and ill health that GMO's are creating and will continue to create, if they are not banned outright.
We very near to a crucial tipping point. Some food producers are already scrambling to make sure that they can get supplies of non-GMO inputs as they realize that consumers are quickly becoming knowledgeable and are demanding non-GMO products.
Back in May over 2 million people marched world wide and there was NO news coverage?!!? Hopefully there will be much more mainstream media coverage this time.
This is the first of what can be many battles against Monsanto in Cocoa Beach, it is important to keep the good will of the community for future larger events.
As Gandhi said; “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win,” and “Whenever you are confronted with an opponent. Conquer him with love.”
